Note: A lot of visa agencies saw a business opportunity and therefore have promoted this visa as a solution for the digital nomads or anybody for that matter who wishes to stay in Indonesia as long as possible, without having to get a KITAS.
Many agencies did not even inform the client, that this is technically a visa with the travel purpose “pre-investment”. So if you get this visa without actually sourcing for business opportunities, preparing to invest, getting ready to found a company etc, this is effectively visa abuse. The Balinese government has urged the immigration department to take a closer look at travelers holding a D12 visa.

With this visa you can

You are prohibited from selling goods or services. - You are prohibited from receiving rewards, wages, or any similar from individuals or corporations in Indonesia.
Document Requirements
- Passport valid for at least 6 (six) months (for holders of travel documents other than passports such as emergency passports, documents of identity, etc. must be valid for 12 months).
- Personal bank statement with minimum amount USD $5000 or equivalent the last 3 months period (including name, date of period, and balance account).
- A recent colour photograph.

Before you apply:
- Once the visa application is in process, it cannot be cancelled, and no refund of the fee can be granted (no refund provided).
- The invoice will be issued by your guarantor will be our partner law firm, which will be your contract partner
- Only once you completed the payment, we can start to process of your visa application with the immigration officials.
- The immigration has the right to decline your application without giving any reason. In such as case no refund can be given / very rare, but it can technically happen.
- We adhere to Indonesian immigration rules and regulations. We are not responsible if there is any sudden changes published by the immigration, which may cause a delay or rejection for your application or entry into the country or any immediate changes (no refund policy).
