Impossibles is well-known for its lengthy, difficult-to-exit tubes. It is a left reef break with a sharp reef bottom; recommended for experienced surfers only. It is hard to predict the waves here, but usually, it lines up on big swells during low tides. Also there is a nice little right hander off to the side that breaks more regularly.
There are two take-off zones you can choose based on the current condition. Top and Bottom sections, Top section mostly works on a smaller swell and the bottom has a predictably hollow sections.
Be wary of other beginner surfers dropping in on you if you take off at the upper section, as it will be fast and difficult for you to maneuver around them.
At the right season, sometimes you will be able to spot sets of breaks from the top reef at Padang-Padang which will build a huge wall, barrels and long sections for more than 400 meters. It will end close to Bingin.
