Jimbaran, Canggu, and Ubud among Top 15 Destinations to Live and Work for Digital Nomads in 2021

Bali’s Jimbaran, Canggu, and Ubud have made it to the top 15 of a list compiled by Club Med’s website of destinations to live and work for digital nomads in 2021.

The survey aims to work out exactly where digital nomads should be flocking to this year and is based on several criteria: cost of living, safety, average internet speed, number of adventurous activities, number of relaxing activities, and places to work.

Jimbaran comes in fifth place with a total index score of 235 out of 320.According to Club Med, this charming fishing village on Bali’s coast has an approximate living cost of £479 a month, along with popular activities including fishing, ocean surfing, and scuba diving, all of which make it a dream destination for digital nomads.

With a solid index score of 207, Canggu sits in 10th place, while Ubud secured its place on the number 11 spot.

Phuket of Thailand tops the list with a total score of 290 out of 320.

Completing the list is Ho Chi Minh of Vietnam (2), Krabi of Thailand (3), Colombo of Sri Lanka (4), Singapore (6), Kuala Lumpur of Malaysia (7), Cancun of Mexico (8), Siem Reap of Cambodia (9), Male of Maldives (12), Playa of Mexico (13), Rio de Janeiro (14), and Cozumel of Mexico (15).
