AKUA de Bilbao was created by Jose, a Spaniard from Bilbao living in Indonesia for over 25 years, and his Indonesian wife Nini, who have a great passion for food and love to cook Spanish and Asian cuisine.

Living a dream in a tropical paradise on the beachfront, whilst eating fresh local foods as good as in Bilbao that is traditionally cooked with the passion of our Amatzus (Mothers) and Amumas (Grandmothers) is what AKUA de Bilbao breathes.
