All of our staff, most of whom have been with us for many years, are from the local area around Candi Dasa (pronounced Chandi Dasa) and generally speak excellent English. Feel free to ask anything you want about Bali, its customs, and its rich culture during your stay. If a staff member cannot help you, they will find someone who can.
Your table will have a spectacular view of the islands Nusa Penida and Lombok (on a clear day), along with local Balinese life in full view. Local fishermen still beach their boats in front of the resort, providing the freshest “Catch of the Day” every day!
Le-Zat Beach Restaurant is a representation of Balinese culinary heritage, stretching back centuries. Balinese cuisine creates distinctive flavors by combining hot and spicy ingredients like chili peppers, shallots, ginger, and garlic with the milder flavors of coconut cream, turmeric, ripe tomatoes, and the unique fruits and vegetables of Bali, such as mangosteen, mangos, and jackfruit. All this, combined with the finest and freshest ingredients such as locally sourced meat from certified butchers and fresh seafood delivered daily by local fishermen, ensures a truly authentic dining experience.
The sea breeze keeps the atmosphere cool, and the sound of the surf adds that touch of Bali you’ll remember. There are around 40 seats near the bar and 60 to 80 seats in the restaurant and beachside, so you’ll never have to worry about waiting, whether you’re a resort guest or just passing through.
