Established in 2012 by Yozua Makes, Plataran Private Cruises was inspired by its founder’s own appreciation of Indonesian maritime heritage. Today, Plataran Private Cruises operates a fleet of phinisi ships, yachts, and speed boats out of its bases at Plataran Komodo in Labuan Bajo, NTT; and Plataran Menjangan, West Bali National Park – each Plataran port with its own private jetty and logistics facilities. The experienced sailing crews of Plataran Private Cruises are the proud descendants of nautical ancestors in NTT, Sulawesi, Java, and Moluccas.
