Bali New Year’s Eve 2026: A Day-to-Night Celebration at White Rock Beach Club

BALI, INDONESIA, 13 October 2026 – This year, White Rock Beach Club is turning New Year’s Eve in Bali into a full afternoon and night by the ocean, so guests are not racing toward midnight. On Thursday, 31 December 2026, guests can settle onto a daybed on Melasti Beach in Ungasan, a short drive from Uluwatu, follow the music through the afternoon and sunset, and count down to 2027 on the beach. Simo White b2b Novecento will be on the decks at midnight as fireworks light up the sky over the Indian Ocean.

Doors open at 1:00 PM. From there, eight DJs keep the music going until 3:00 AM. Guests will get the whole arc of the day: the bright afternoon by the pool, golden hour over the ocean, and the countdown under the fireworks.

The line-up

The music, curated with Abstract, follows the arc of the day. BAMS opens the afternoon with Afro and Tech House, followed by Brad Watts. As the sun sets, Syania takes over with Melodic Techno, Progressive House and Afro House, then Woitso brings Indie Dance, Afro House and Melodic Techno into the evening. Defoo moves the dancefloor through Tech House, House and Disco before the countdown set. Mohse closes the night.

Countdown to 2027 on Melasti Beach

The countdown set belongs to Simo White b2b Novecento, who play Tech House and Melodic Techno from 11:00 PM to 1:00 AM. At midnight, the beach becomes the stage. Synchronized fireworks fill the sky above Melasti Beach, while a laser show, confetti cannons and CO2 cryo jets burst over the dancefloor, all timed to the music as the crowd counts down to the new year.

“Our idea of a great New Year’s Eve in Bali is simple: a beautiful place, good music, and the ocean right there with you,” said Nova Novita Sihombing, Corporate Director of Sales & Marketing at White Rock Beach Club. “Whether you take a daybed from the afternoon or join the crowd on the dancefloor, the idea is the same: stay as long as you like, and see the new year in on the beach, not squeezed into a few hours at midnight.”

Choose your spot

For the full day-to-night experience, White Rock recommends arriving when doors open and claiming a reserved daybed from the afternoon. Options range from the Single Bed for couples to the Lagoon Bed set on the infinity pool. For private groups, the Party Suites serve as the VIP area, with their own sound connected to the main stage.

Food and drinks run the whole day. Guests can choose à la carte dining at the restaurant and daybed, grab a seat at the bar, or try the food and beverage stalls on the lawn.

Carnival energy from Sunset

From early sunset, costumed carnival performers move through the venue, adding colour and movement as the day turns to night. Live saxophone and percussion play alongside the DJ sets, giving the electronic music a warmer, human rhythm as the night builds toward midnight.
