Beautiful beach with crystal clear water just like its name, you don’t need extra efforts to get into this beach, like other beaches in Penida with challenging hikes or stairs. Excellent visibility for snorkellers- a lot of fish life as well, including some awesome triggerfish! Some small stingers near the cliffs so to be aware!
Lines of food stalls selling food, and there is a place to rent snorkelling gear; however, there isn’t much for shops to by anything other than food or water equipment. Boat traffic can get fairly dangerous if your snorkelling because of the sheer amount of boats in the harbour. There is a small island with a temple out in the bay but don’t try to swim to it!!!! As the current is very harsh on that side of the beach. The local vendors will tell you where the safe place to snorkel is, and if you go there with a dive company, you won’t have to worry about current at all.
