Once very remote and hard to get to, nowadays Labuan Bajo is well connected and much easier to reach. Labuan Bajo is located on Flores. The nearest Airport is “Komodo International Airport” which is just 10min away from Labuan Bajo by car. The location makes it quite easy to get to your final destination. Many travelers choose Labuan Bajo as one of their travel excursions during their Bali holiday, often to visit Komodo Island National Park to see the famous Komodo Dragons. Others skip Bali and travel “directly” to Labuan Bajo taking flights from Jakarta or Surabaya and travel onwards to other destinations in Indonesia such as Raja Ampat or Manado as part of a diving and snorkelling adventure.
