Bali Records Lowest Daily COVID-19 Infections in 9 Months

Bali posted 31 new coronavirus cases over the last 24 hours on Thursday (27/5), its lowest daily rise in infection in the last 9 months, while deaths from COVID-19 rose by 3.

The island’s overall caseload now stands at 47,063, while total fatalities are at 1,487, according to Bali COVID-19 Task Force data.

A total of 66 patients were discharged from hospitals in Bali after recovering from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. This also increases the recovery rate to 95.28% from the previously 95.20%.

And as of 27 May 2021, Bali becomes the first province in Indonesia to reach the target for the first dose of vaccination with 172.35% and is also the closest for the second dose with 79.04%.
