The legend of Don Juan begins in 1630 by the Spaniard, Tirso de Molina. Later named Don Giovanni by Mozart in 1787, The Don continued his legendary course through life in the pursuit of woman, risk, fun and adventure. The year is 2019 and the legend of The Don continues, this time in Kuta, Bali on the infamous Bemo Corner on the southern end of Legian Street.
In a celebration of culture and cuisine, Don Juan Mexican Restaurant and Bar opened it’s doors to the public in August 2019. Reinventing some of your favorite and familiar flavors, including, burritos, enchiladas and tostada fiesta salad bowls. The menu also boasts a creative selection of Latin inspired tapas including some great Mexican street style tacos and tostaditas. The restaurant is decorated in a rustic industrial vibe with a balance of vibrant color and creative art done by Balinese friends. There are two floors of dining available, a slightly more formal, yet antique setting on the second floor, while the first floor opens up the view of the Bemo Corner intersection with open windows and bar stool seats along the sidewalk under a shaded canopy and a misting system to help cool you throughout a hot Bali day. There is also a big screen TV available so you don’t miss your favorite team while on holiday and a comfortable sofa to watch the action.
Not only does The Don Juan Mexican Restaurant and Bar celebrate fantastic food, ambiance, service and interior, but it’s the people here that we love to celebrate the most. A true family is forming here and we welcome you to come and be a part of it!
