Kedonganan’s bay protects the surfers from the strong winds, which also keeps the seas calm. There’s no need to worry about slipping off your board because all you have beneath you are gentle waters and sand.
If you’re worried about standing on a surfboard, renting a paddleboard might help you get used to moving around in the currents. A few board rentals and surf schools can also be found nearby.
It’s a great place to learn to surf, although waves aren’t guaranteed at all times. This surf break comes to life only when large swells hit, and when they do, the waves consistently reach shoulder height. This makes it an ideal place to ride several waves for an extended period of time. You may relax and hone your surfing skills on the slow-breaking peaks.
