Museum Monumen Nasional Taman Pujaan Bangsa Margarana also known as Margarana National Monument Park.
This historical landmark is located in Marga village – Tabanan, only about 25 km away from Denpasar City Center to the Northwest. It was built gradually since 1967 until finally inaugurated by the Governor of Bali Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Mantra.
Museum Monumen Nasional Taman Pujaan Bangsa Margarana is a landmark of the historic event “Puputan Margarana war”, a great war between the Balinese people and NICA. This museum collects photographs of heroes, Balinese swords, mini samurai, Balinese keris, American and British relics, and many other things.
The museum was built on an area of 10 hectares covering the museum area, the Heroes of Margarana Temple area, and the Taman Bahagia cemetery complex of heroes who died during the war.
