Puri Beji Temple is located in Sangsit village, about 8 km in the east of Singaraja, built to honour the Goddess Sri, known as the goddess of rice. It is relatively a small temple compared to other touristic temples in South of Bali.
Two dragons statues are standing as guards at the gate of the temples. The main attraction of this temple is the carvings that decorate almost all parts of the temple right from the main entrance, the second gate and to the main court. Bring along a bottle of water, sunblock and a hat as it can be really hot during the day here. Camera is a must. This temple is a must-visit if you are visiting Singaraja or Lovina, and especially if you have an interest in art and architecture.
