Taman Ayun Temple is a Royal Temple of Mengwi Empire, and it is located in Mengwi Village, about 18 Km north side of Denpasar town. It is surrounded by the big fish pond and beautiful garden.

Taman Ayun displays Balinese culture, history and architecture altogether. The place offers a scenic photo opportunity. If you visit Taman Ayun in the early afternoon, make sure to bring water, cap, umbrella or even sunglasses because of the heat. As a tourist and a visitor, it is highly appreciated if you wear clothes that are below your knees. The local administration would let you borrow a ‘sarong’ for free, as it is most likely included with the entrance fee.
