Tamblingan is a beautiful lake in Munduk village – Buleleng. It is commonly called twin lake, as it is situated side by side with another lake, Buyan. But compared to Buyan Lake, Tamblingan is smaller as it is only about one kilometre wide. A lush of rainforest surrounds the lake area with orchids and a few wild macaques.

There is a beautiful old temple located right at the front side of the lake named Ulun Danu Tamblingan. Tourists are not allowed to enter the temple area. However, we can still take some nice pictures from the outer side of the temple.
