Dalemped Temple (also known as Pura Dalem Nusa) is located in the north Nusa Penida. Balinese believes the history of this temple is related to one of the most important Bali Ancestor named Ratu Gede Mas Mecaling. He was popular as the powerful ancestor who could cure the sick, many locals, even from other islands, still come to this temple today hoping to be healed from any sickness.

During full moon or the temple anniversary, people from nearby villages and Bali main island will come to worship and pay tribute to their ancestor.
