This is a place where motorcycles and fine dining collide, “God’s Restaurant,” if you speak Latin, then again why would you take anything literally around here. But if you want the real story, then read on…
In designing our new menu, Deus’ acclaimed top Indonesian chef, Pak Eko, and his team of expert food mechanics who assemble food with a passion typically reserved for family and loved ones jumped on their bikes and have driven out to the high hills in search of those original recipes like our fabulous Nasi Goreng Kambing.
But it ain’t all Indonesian on our menu. We’ve pasta and burgers. Salads & steaks. There’s Steak for the carnivores and a profusion of vegetarian and vegan options on offer, here at the Deus Café we have built our menu the same way we make motorcycles and surfboards: straight from the gut.
Aside from a full bar, including mouthwatering cocktails, fine wines, and an assortment of beer, Deus’ coffees have been called the best in Bali — we’re happy to agree. After sunset, there’s music and other entertainment, and there are always quiet corners for more intimate conversation. Large teak tables, stuffed corner sofas, and sturdy bars stools await your desire, while original pieces by fine artists Robert Moore, Andrew Wellman & a plentitude of others are featured through the facilities. Our kitchen opens at midday and closes at 10:00 pm every day.
Reservations are encouraged and totally unnecessary. We don’t deliver, but listed on Go-Jek & Grab and they work a treat and you’re welcome to pick up anytime. And gods of every sort are always invited, assuming they speak Latin.
