From the 6 main surf breaks in Canggu if you include Pererenan, Old Man’s is the one located further down south and right in front of, yes, Old Man’s Bar and Club. Also visited by surf schools this wave is a reef break with a forgiving nature. Canggu has gained popularity over the last few years, so has this surf spot and because it’s suitable also for beginners, expect a crowd. Old Man’s breaks left and right.

The right-hander breaks all the way into the canal between Old-Mans and Batu-Bolong. If you’re looking for a lengthy ride on an open face, the right hander is your best bet, but the left hander has the potential for greater power and ends on a shallow reef during lower tides.
