Another big step in opening Bali for tourism again

The immigration department of Indonesia has confirmed on their website that all nationalities can now arrive directly in Bali and also quarantine there.

That’s very good news. And it gets better. Additionally, the government has appointed 5 hotels in Bali to handle the quarantine. These hotels have put in massive effort to provide a pleasant quarantine experience. Before travellers had to stay in a hotel room in Jakarta. 

The Bali quarantine hotels have specifically allocated a particular portion of their property to allow their quarantine guests to enjoy pools, restaurants and activities, or even the beach, while still applying health and distancing protocols. They call it the Warm-up Vacation. Yes, it’s still a quarantine protocol, but a much more pleasant one. 

Still travellers need a B211A Visa and mandatory quarantine is  5 days / 4 nights for FULLY VACCINATED travellers.

The regulation is also valid for the Riau islands. 

Regulations that have been put in place lately and remain valid:

– Visit Visa B211A is needed for ALL travellers

– 5×24 hours quarantine (4 nights / 5 days)

– Negative PCR test not older than 2 x 24h (taken before departure from your country of origin)

– You still need the mandatory medical insurance upon arrival that must cover covid related expenses. Minimum amount of expenses it needs to cover now USD 30,000
